For Docomo Pacific’s newly renovated headquarters, they were generous to hire a bunch of local artist to hit up their walls. I was fortunate enough to paint two. The first one I painted were these illustrative roosters designed in ornate details. These roosters were part of a collaborative mural with two other artist, Jeff Ejan and Lindsay Kane. The overall design was pretty much, “just do whatever we want", which was awesome because it allowed us to just work off each other’s design in the middle of our creative processes. The second mural was a simple wall-paper style of customized latte stone in their staircase. Docomo had this cool rule for their employees to promote better health by making it mandatory to use the stairs to go up or down a level. So to increase morale, they had each floor of the staircase painted.
